I am the first to admit that I have poor oral hygiene. It is a terrible thing and I recognize it. However, the lessons and habits that I should have had from childhood were never instilled in me. I am trying to create good habits.

Tom’s Of Maine has a series of products that are natural products. In a world where consumers are becoming more and more eco-friendly, it is sometimes difficult to find companies that are doing it well. One of my favorite key points is that they do not do animal testing. While I am far from one of those animal right’s activists that stand in protest outside of businesses, I try to make a conscious effort to buy products that do not test on animals. Finding such products that don’t taste completely foul goes a long way toward my goal of creating better habits for myself.

I love animals. It is no secret. I have two cats currently but I’ve always had a small menagerie growing up. Now that I live with Angel, I have a small menagerie again! (Yes, Angel, I said “small”.)

A problem I have always run into is never having enough pet carriers. Or not having ones that are of a proper size. I remember taking Lili to the vet, one time, in a laundry basket with a towel over the top because we didn’t have a carrier for her! Luckily, she wasn’t the type to freak out and run away. Having a good, decent-sized carrier for your pets is a must. What about when you have to take them to the vet? What if there is an emergency? I also believe that having at least one spare is a good idea. You never know when you will need it!

I’ve never really had a use for pet beds because I am one of those owners that, gasp, lets the animals sleep on the bed. They don’t always sleep on the bed with me but usually they wind up joining Mommy. I’ve found that even when I do get them their own bed, they never use it. It’s like buying pet toys and they would rather play with a cardboard box, a plastic bag, or–if you’re Charlie–the extra straw from Wendy’s that was found in Mommy’s purse. He loves playing with his straws! Weird cat.

My car is driving me (ha! driving! get it??) insane. It is making this weird noise while I drive at higher speeds and I have had so many things looked at… to only be told that they can’t find anything wrong! I am confused and frustrated.

I should really look into some Phoenix auto repair and see if someone can find something. But I worry about just dropping my baby off and being like “I have no idea what’s wrong with it. Find it. Fix it.” because I am female and anyone could just take advantage of my situation! They could say it is the timing belt or the water pump or ANYTHING! Well, maybe not that last one since there is no way it’s related to my problem but you see what I mean.

I’ve had the alignment checked. I’ve had the balance on the wheels checked. I’ve had the tires rotated–twice, even! No change, other than the minor fix from the balance. There is no massive pulling to the left or right. The sound goes away a bit when I turn to the left (at high speeds) but doesn’t if I’m going to the right.

I am at my wit’s end! I have to admit, though, I have not had nearly as many problems with this car as I did with my Ford Escort. Wait. It was a Tempo. Piece of–aaaaaanyway.

Hopefully I can get it figured out and it won’t be a huge problem.
