I knew I wanted to make the switch to satellite TV, but I had no idea who to buy it from. I really do like to shop online, so I thought I would search a few of my options before making a decision. Of course as soon as I started shopping for my satellite TV service, I found a million other things to do. I shopped for shoes on Zappo’s, paid some of my bills, and then got totally sidetracked reading news. Shopping online is like a black hole for me. Once I get started, it’s really hard for me to stop. I just get so excited, and then forget what I actually logged on for. When I realized that I was not completing the task I had set out to get done, I knew I needed to get focused. I immediately found satellitetvfamily.com, which had some great deals. Instead of going crazy and searching a thousand sites, I decided just to buy from them. They had great deals that I could afford, and I was happy with their service. I’m glad that I didn’t get stuck in the black hole again!
I have learned so much from cooking by watching the Food Network. My husband loves the fact that I have gotten into watching the food network because I have been trying all sorts of new recipes. When we first got married, I did not do much cooking. We both had good jobs and I did not enjoy cooking that much, so we ate out quite a bit. However, after the birth of our first child, I started working only part time, and we no longer had the budget to eat out all of the time. Since then I have grown to enjoy cooking. Every day my husband comes home from work and takes the kids for an hour so I can cook dinner. It has become my time to relax. I have some time to myself, and I really enjoy trying the new dishes. We have also saved a lot of money because we are eating out less. Overall, my love of cooking has been a great thing for our family. I never knew that I would love cooking so much, and my husband has never been so glad that we have Direct tv.

When one has a lot of pets, it is important to know that steam cleaning is an option. You can invest in a steam cleaner and do it yourself or you can look into services such as The Steam Team — http://www.thesteamteam.com/austin-cleaning-services/ — and have a professional take care of your needs. And they do not only deal with the usual carpet/upholstery cleaning that one immediately thinks of. They do a little bit of everything. They also offer things such as car carpet cleaning tips.
Personally, I’d much rather have a professional come in and take care of the issue because I know that they will do the job right while I would have still been reading the instructions to the steam cleaner or other device I’d purchased in order to do the job myself. Not to mention there is the whole thing about the type of surface being cleaned and the proper treatment. When a professional knows how to handle everything from tile and grout to hardwood to carpet to oriental rugs to marble and granite, I would definitely prefer to leave things in their hands rather than weeks later be lamenting over the damage done by my D I Y attempt. I would have been scratching my head or rearranging things to cover my blunder instead of enjoying my new clean surfaces.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hills Pet Nutrition. All opinions are 100% mine.
I’ve been a fan of Hill’s Pet Nutrition for some time now. They have a lot of different options at affordable prices. And what’s neat is that they are all about the animals and the health of said animals. They now have the “Hill’s Healthy Mobility Challenge which is a great way to get your dog started on the path to a healthier life. If you register now, you will receive $30 worth of coupon offers and an entry into the contest to win free pet food for a year. It’s the perfect way to start! Hill’s Healthy Mobility Coupon
And Hill’s doesn’t just deal with dogs. They deal with cats as well. In fact, I just picked up the prescription brand for Lili because she needed something even more specially formulated to deal with her issues. Needless to say, I will be paying a lot more attention to Hill’s Pet Nutrition on Facebook to keep an eye out for special offers and such.
Dogs are supposed to be man’s best friend; We should really try and return the favor by giving them the best chance at a healthy, active lifestyle. Your pet will thank you for it.

I have this really strange habit of losing my phone at the most random times. It’s not that I am a forgetful person. In fact, I’ve never lost my phone somewhere that was not my place of residence. Most random place to find said phone? The drawer of the dresser in the spare bedroom. Wait. What? Yeah. I know.
So enter the Sprint Total Equipment Protection App; It will help you locate your phone if it is lost, lock the phone, and you can even remotely wipe the phone if it gets lost beyond your ability to get it back or even stolen. No one wants that fear of having their phone fall into the wrong hands and suddenly all of their information is in someone else’s possession.
Don’t have anything like this yet? Why not?? Sprint customers have until August 30th to add this feature to their phone so you had better jump on this. It costs $8.00 per month. And while there is a deductible ($50 or $100) for approved claims should a phone need to be replaced, it’s definitely better than the full replacement price of that sweet EVO you got yourself: $449. But again, Sprint customers can only get in on this until August 30th!
… speaking of phones, has anyone seen mine? Ugh! I have to find it.
There was a time when it was actually fairly difficult to obtain scrubs uniforms. I remember when my mother was going through nursing school (and later working as an LVN and RN) and not only were her only choices “blue” or “blue” but there was one place in the city she could go to and actually purchase the uniforms that she had to practically live in. It was frustrating for her to have to travel to get to the store and then her options were extremely limited even after “blue” wasn’t the requirement any longer. Enter companies like BlueSkyscrubs.com / http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/.
Nowadays, medical scrubs, medical scrub uniforms (or whatever you want to call them) come in so many different patterns and sizes and colors and styles and I swear I considered moving into a field where I could wear them all day and every day. So cute! And it doesn’t get any easier to throw them on and just go.
Looking back, I think my mother would have had a better time with trying to fill her work wardrobe if she had been able to just order everything online and have it shipped directly to her. She wouldn’t have gotten so frustrated and, frankly, depressed by the lack of options and the time it took out of her day off to get them.

You can add cheesecake to just about anything and it’s guaranteed that I’ll eat it. It’s just so incredibly wonderful. I’ve always loved cheesecake anyway and kind of a freak about it now because I love it so much. I had some cheesecake ice cream somewhere at a restaurant and after that I knew that I had to try and make some of it for myself at home. I make cheesecake and ice cream, so I thought that I would be well equipped to make a combination of the two!
But I went online to get a sense of direction on how to exactly make it. While I was doing that I saw the site www.MobileBROADBAND.com and after I read through it some I decided to change over my internet service to it. I was pretty unhappy with my old provider at that point anyhow.
I used a recipe that I found and I think that it turned out really well! Maybe not as well as the kind that I had at that restaurant, but that was obviously professionally made.

It’s no real secret that I don’t want to have a baby. I had a sort of ‘been there, done that’ experience when I was ten and having to help raise my baby brother. People who have carried and birthed a child tell me that it’s “completely different” from what I went through. Well, no thank you. I remember what it was like to get up in the middle of the night, several times a night, to try and decipher what the crying meant.
I remember having to figure out which formula to get at the store because we were short on funds but Kyle had to feed. Back then there weren’t nearly as many options. Nowadays there are formulas that have extra ingredients in them, specifically designed for the baby’s development. Bright Beginnings is one of those. You can find Bright Beginnings on Facebook and check it out for yourself at their Fan Page just how many people rave about it.
Another problem I ran into was the convenience factor. At age ten, I couldn’t exactly hop in the car to run to the store. On several occasions, I had to walk to the grocery store to procure what was needed. Now, almost anything and everything can be purchased online and delivered. You can buy on diapers.com and have formula delivered before you even run out. What I wouldn’t have given for this technology and convenience to have been out back then! diapers.com even offers free 1 to 2 day shipping.
So even though I may not be looking to have a wee one any time soon, if at all, I can recognize a good product and service when I see one. As always, it is up to the specific consumer to do the rest of the research and decide.
TABASCO® Original Red is an absolute necessity in any kitchen looking for any sort of kick in their cooking. I will admit that when living with Rick, I was highly disappointed in the fact that he couldn’t handle spice. Original Red was really the most that he could handle because it isn’t about the spice and making things ‘just hot’. I loved when he added it to his chili.
With football’s end of season coming closer, the Super Bowl is on everyone’s mind. TABASCO has this Game-Day Party Menu that has some really neat ideas for those of you having a party. There is also the Pizza Perfected page which has even more ideas. Why settle for the same old boring pizza? Spice it up, make those flavors pop! Take a plain, cheese pizza for example. Top it off with TABASCO, sprinkle some more cheese on top, shove it in the oven for about 10 minutes or so at 450 and voila! Totally not the usual, boring cheese pizza.
But regardless of your level of spice and your desire to add flavor to whatever you’re making, TABASCO is the easiest and best way to go. It’s easy to add to whatever dish you are cooking and taste test until you get what you desire; there is no running around trying various ‘spice secrets’ and trying to figure out what something needs. Game on!

This post brought to you by Delta Labs. All opinions are 100% mine.
It’s no real secret that I have a desire to lose weight become more healthy. I am the most overweight that I have been in my life. It is partly due to all the stress I have been under for the past four years and it is partly due to my level of physical activity decreasing dramatically.
My eating habits have suffered greatly, my choosing comfort and convenience over what I should be eating. I have thought about looking into getting a nutritional guide but I am not much of a cook so I’m not sure how well that would pan out. I am always looking to try new things.
Delta Labs is giving away a free health book called Eat, Play Live! While writing this post, I darted off and signed up to receive my free eBook. It was sent to my e-mail address almost immediately with the option of viewing online or downloading a zip file. I chose to download mine. The pdf is gorgeous, first of all. It is 36 pages worth of information that you can generally find anywhere, to be honest. But it’s all contained in a quick guide. And it’s free!
If you’re looking to lose weight, a change in diet is key. So why not start with a free guide that isn’t a full novel to pick your way through? Less pages to read means less of a chance to get discouraged. Give it a shot. Who knows? Maybe this will be the system that finally turns your life around? I’m definitely not discounting it.
"So I'm a little left of center. I'm a little out of tune..." I am a 20-something redheaded woman. I do not give out my exact age not out of paranoia or a sense of being old but because I am too lazy to make sure this is always up to date every year after my birthday. I am not looking for love, I am not looking for children, and I am not exactly your average single female. I am a geek at heart as well as a secret princess. I have the soul of a gypsy while craving Home. I am diplomatic and am allergic to drama. And coconuts. And anything in the onion family. I have two cats, Charlie and Lili. But most importantly, I am not afraid of who I am.
