Spent the weekend in San Diego and had a shit time of it. I won’t bother to go into the crappy details.

But I did go to the Borders in Mission Valley in its final week of being open. I had dragged my little brother with me and he tagged along behind me. Suddenly, he became my cart horse and was carrying all my newfound books. I spent way too much money and I wound up leaving San Diego with a total of 24 new books for under $80. That was, like, my entire entertainment budget for the month of September right there.

I did, however, manage to nab Naamas’s Blessing by Jacqueline Carey for a mere $10 in hardcover. I had been holding off on that purchase because it was just too expensive. But for $10 and I didn’t have to have it shipped? Heck yeah!

Side note: I seriously need more bookshelves.

Stay Classy, Internets.

About Me

"So I'm a little left of center. I'm a little out of tune..." I am a 20-something redheaded woman. I do not give out my exact age not out of paranoia or a sense of being old but because I am too lazy to make sure this is always up to date every year after my birthday. I am not looking for love, I am not looking for children, and I am not exactly your average single female. I am a geek at heart as well as a secret princess. I have the soul of a gypsy while craving Home. I am diplomatic and am allergic to drama. And coconuts. And anything in the onion family. I have two cats, Charlie and Lili. But most importantly, I am not afraid of who I am.
